Regarding Ajou, MOE and NRF said "The University has well-prepared plans for industry and academia cooperation and has properly executed them in alignment with its own development plan. It also seeks sustainable development regarding cooperation with industries," adding, "The University stands out in patent education programs for sound capstone design courses and in operating other curricula involving industries, which leads to patent-related achievements, etc." MOE and NRF also favorably evaluated Ajou's system as being friendly to industry-academia cooperation and the academic organization reshuffled in line with industrial needs; the system to guide and support students who take on-site training subjects; the assistance to produce excellent graduates with expertise in technical innovation and the revamped curriculum reflecting industrial demands; and contribution to the local economy by promoting Ajou's Creative Research Town, etc. Executive Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation Kyung Hee Choi (Professor of the Department of Software and Computer Engineering) said, "Ajou's LINC Project aims to foster creative convergence-oriented talents and shared growth with local industries.
